Think Again

If you propose an idea because
it was the first one that caught your mind's eye
there may be brighter bulbs shining within

“Why did I think that?”

think again
and if you have the time
think again

“What if I‘m wrong?”

for if your brain can contemplate galaxies
there are an infinity of thoughts waiting
to fly through your mind in hopes of getting caught

“What else could be true?”

another universe blinks a testable
or perhaps untestable reality,
your second thought, or your third thought, or your fourth
